About AI Career Pro

Our Why

AI governance faces a critical translation problem. Engineering teams race ahead building AI systems while legal teams craft frameworks in isolation. The result? Technical teams accumulate risk they don't see. Governance teams produce documentation nobody uses. Leaders drive workforce AI adoption while their compliance frameworks block every practical application.
AI Career Pro is the professional learning platform bridging these gaps. We teach the practical capabilities missing from AI governance education—not just theory, but how to actually build AI inventories, perform algorithmic assessments, design meaningful human oversight, and make the business case that secures resources. Translating between the disciplines of engineers, scientists, lawyers and auditors so everyone can understand the problem and make the right decision.
Founded by James Kavanagh, who previously built governance mechanisms at Microsoft and Amazon (including Amazon's first Responsible AI program achieving ISO 42001 certification), AI Career Pro operates on a simple principle: teach what we build, build what we teach.

We're simultaneously developing Hooman.ai, a platform for scalable human oversight of AI decisions. Every governance challenge we face in building that system informs what we teach. Every framework we share has survived contact with actual implementation. The gap between teaching and doing stays short.

This dual approach means you're learning from practitioners solving these problems right now, not outdated case studies or theoretical frameworks that collapse under production constraints.

The moment matters. AI governance professionals are defining this field as it forms—writing the first playbooks, establishing standards, creating practices that will guide AI development for decades. If you're ready to translate your existing expertise into this emerging profession, we'll show you the path.

We're committed to building the talent and tools for high integrity AI Governance, and glad to have you join our journey.
