Program Overview

What is the AI Governance Practitioner Program? 

A practical, 16-course learning pathway that helps professionals turn their existing skills and experience into recognised capability in AI governance. Built be practitioners who've implemented governance at Microsoft and Amazon, the program blends foundational knowledge with real-world case studies, templates and tools you can apply immediately.  

Who is AI Career Pro? 

AI Career Pro is a professional education platform developed to help professionals build confidence and capability in the AI era through practical learning, tools, and community. 

Do I need to be a lawyer, data scientist or engineer to do this program? 

Not at all. Most of our students come from business, law, risk, compliance, or leadership backgrounds. If you can solve problems, communicate across teams, and manage risk, you already have the foundations of AI governance. 

Learning Experience

How is the program delivered? 

Fully online through self-paced video lessons, interactive resources, and downloadable templates. Each course builds capability step-by-step, with new courses released regularly through 2025 and early 2026. 

How long does it take to complete?

Each paid course is between 4 and 6 hours of video tuition, plus exercises, quizzes, reflections and additional optional reading. We recommend setting aside 1 to 1 1/2 days for the course work and some time to actually apply what you've learned in your work.  The whole program of 16 courses can be done at your own pace, but if you schedule 1 day per week, it should take 4 to 6 months to complete.

Can I get personal support? 

Yes - learners can join our private community forum for discussion and Q&A with peers and mentors. You'll receive regular updates and insights from James Kavanagh - exclusive to Program students. And, if you need us, the team at AI Career Pro are actual human beings, so we're available to answer questions and provide direction via email and/or within the Community forum. 

Will content be updated? 

Yes, your enrollment includes access to course updates and new course modules released within 12-months of your purchase. 

Recognition & Credentials

Is the program accredited? 

AI Career Pro is an independent professional education provider. Our programs prepare learners for globally recognised certifications (IAPP AIGP, ISACA AAIA) but we are not affiliated in any way with either organisation.  We remain independent so that the curriculum can be continuously adapted to meet the needs of real practitioners and cover topics that are vital for practice but not covered in those certifications.

Will I receive a certificate? 

Yes - each course includes a Certificate of Completion from AI Career Pro, demonstrating your capability development and readiness for practical application.  If you complete all sixteen courses, then you are awarded a Certificate from AI Career Pro recognising the depth of your knowledge and practical expertise.

Is this relevant if I already have AIGP or AAIA Certification? 

Definitely - although the courses cover all of the topics within the AIGP Body of Knowledge, each course includes comprehensive practical skills and additional content necessary for the practical work of AI Governance. With templates, tools and tips, the courses will advance your knowledge to a deeper level of expertise.

How much does it cost? 

You can start at NO cost with our FREE introductory course - "Become an AI Governance Pro". Paid courses start at USD 59 each. Discounts apply when purchasing Program Tracks (4 courses). 

How long do I have access to my course/s? 

Your enrolment includes access to course content, including updates and new course modules, for 12 months from date of purchase. 

How do I enrol? 

Go to our Courses page to enrol in the Program. You can choose from individual courses, or full tracks (i.e. 4 courses per track). From early 2026, you will be able to purchase the full Program, including an exclusive membership subscription offer.
